Furley Page Managing Sickness Absence Workshop, Kent

The issue of sickness in the workplace will be the subject of a workshop held by Kent law firm Furley Page. The interactive workshop, run in partnership with Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce, is open to Chamber members and non-members whatever the size of their workforce.
Leading the workshop is Andrew Masters, Partner and Head of Employment at Furley Page. He will be joined by Amanda Okill, a Senior Associate who specialises in employment law. Both are part of Furley Page’s highly-regarded Employment Team, which is recommended by the independent legal guides Chambers UK and The Legal 500.
The workshop is held at the Mercure Maidstone Great Danes Hotel. Registration is from 8am, starting at 8.30am and finishing at noon.
Managing Sickness Absence (Thursday 25 May) – covering managing short- and long-term absence, how best to avoid potential claims, the importance of disability discrimination law and recent cases, and holiday pay and sickness.
